Can't say I know what a tree bench is, but RM will give you the more natural look. Danish Oil will give you a richer look to the walnut, but, again, RM will be the more natural look.

Do a couple test pieces, see for yourself what the results look like.
FWIW, I really like the way Rubio Monocoat Pure looks on the projects/woods I've used it on, color and sheen.
