    Oneway switch-up

The swing-arm mounted control box on my Oneway 2436 was not my favorite feature. I removed the control arm and bolted two magnets to the back of the box so I can start, stop and adjust the speed from either side of the headstock without reaching across the line of fire.

Kevin, that's a great idea. It's the only complaint I have about my laguna is that I can't relocate the controls. Very nice.

The swing arm has worked fine for me for 25 years. Hey, I just realized I need to have an anniversary party for my lathe!!!!

Mine is also 25 years old, though new to me. It's working well, although I have to send in the live center for bearing replacement.
