    Nova 3000 Keeper Plate hopelessly jammed

    The Keeper Plate on my Nova 3000 is hopelessly jammed. I have tried numerous way to take it out to no avail.

    I know that it is hardened steel, but if I take my Sawsall with a bimetal blade, can I saw down in the slot and tri to take it out in pieces?

    Any other suggestions?

    I would not use a Sawsall. Can I assume you removed the set screw?
