I bought my first Grizzly machine 38 years ago and Its still in my shop today along with four other Grizzly machines acquired over the years.
Though I didn't buy my first machine back 38 years ago, I had already bought a number of router cutters and misc stuff from them by that point in time. I've since bought a few machines from them (including Shop Fox) and they do the job very well.
I have a couple Grizzly machines. They are a good bang for the buck IMO.

So much to learn, so little time.....
I've spent a bundle with Grizzly, and mostly am pleased with my purchases. And I would say their customer service is "second to none". My first major purchase was a metal working lathe back in 2007, followed 10 years later by a number of their machines. Here is a link with some photos of some of the machines I have purchased from them.

David,
You have to be Grizzly's best friend at SawMill Creek
I have, in order of purchase;
Tablesaw, Lathe, Jointer, Bandsaw, Mortising machine. Radial Drill press
Over 20+ years owing Grizzly tools, I've had little failure. a start capacitor on my lathe went bad. Everything else is normal wear items or operator (my) error.
YMMV
My shop contains a lot of Grizzly tools, the result of living only about 5 miles from one of their warehouses. Have met the owner many times in the last 40 years and on a first name basis with several of the sales people there. The only problem I have with Grizzly is there is nothing left to buy. Seems my shop is full and I do not need any other tools. What fun is that? However I still often wander down to the showroom and look around and trying to justify purchasing something new. Hmmm, maybe I will wander down there and explore again before the big holiday.
I had the opportunity to visit the Grizzly store in Bellingham, WA, in May. I was impressed - they have a ton of large machines on display, including sliders, lathes and milling machines (metal and wood), as well as a large section of tools by brands like Dewalt, Milwaukee and Kreg. I picked up a few things (they have a clearance area that is pretty good-sized), and I also found a large box of Kreg HD pocket screws for only $21, about $10 less than online. My wife and I spent about 45 minutes there just looking around.
It was funny - on the way there we passed a casino that was advertising a $30,000 jackpot, and I told my wife "you need to win that!", as she likes to play. She said, "If I win a $30,000 jackpot I'll buy you any tool you want at the Grizzly store." I said, "Are you sure about that? Wait thill we get there.", and then showed her some tools that were upwards of $25,000. She was shocked.
Being Canadian I have never purchased a Grizzly product however I have purchased a couple of Busy Bee Tools items.
Busy Bee owner is the brother of the Grizzly owner if I remember correctly.
Regardless, congratulations to Grizzly on 40 years.............Regards, Rod.
3 HP Table saw, 14" band saw, 8" jointer, 6 x 80 edge sander, drill press, 15" planer. That is my griz stuff going back to the 80s. The prices back then allowed me to run a professional shop. Still do but small stuff.
Happy 40th!
Ask a woodworker to "make your bed" and he/she makes a bed.
