Did you catch the part about Finland experimenting with Birch plywood for the same thing?
Get ready for Birch plywood to never come down in price because a company can sell its product at whatever price it wants (especially if there are few suppliers).
And governments will pay (it's only the taxpayers money, after all) no questions asked.
