Hi all,
I have a 1986 Martin T78 (non-beveling slider) I'm looking to get rid of, make me an offer! I'm no longer a working cabinetmaker and my shop will just be a hobbyist shop for the foreseeable many years, so my Saw Stop will be enough machine for me. This machine is just sitting gathering dust for over a year since I bought this machine at auction (IRS Auctions, I'm sure some of you on here saw it when it was up last year).
I bought it for $2,300 and the biggest 'disappointment' from my inspection of it is a missing end block on the cross cut fence, there is only a stop block so it will need either a replacement part of an aftermarket / shop-made block at the cutting end of the crosscut fence. Otherwise the ways are in decent shape, the overarm dust collection is stout. Some surface rust but nothing bad on the body or inside the machine. It needs clean up/tuning and presumably adjustment once it's set up and running, I've never had it under power in my new shop. I am not looking to get what I paid for it, any reasonable offer will be considered! I just want the space back in my small little hobbyist shop and someone to get this saw tuned up and back into use, it's doing no one any good in its current state.
