This tracksaw was made in collaboration with Bosch/ Mafell Germany, unlike the cordless made in China Bosch tracksaw. This will work with both Festool and Mafell/Bosch tracks and has significantly more power (13 amps) than the Festool TS55 with more depth of cut and already uses the same 1.8mm kerf as the newest TS55. I have owned an earlier TS55 and Makita tracksaw and this one is the most powerful and just as clean a cut as the Festool, Made in Germany.
