Clear Vue Pentz EF5 - flexible duct woes

Hi everyone -- I've had my Pentz EF5 up and running for just over a year now, and it's been great. I use 25' flexible duct (10") to deaden the sound and route the very fine dust out the back of my shop (I don't use a filter).

Fired it up the other day, and the 10" flexible duct broke, close to where it was attached to the machine - don't think it can stand the extreme forces more than a year or so.

Wondering if anyone might have any suggestions for an alternative solution.

    Thanks in advance --

    Ned

I use a Fantech LD-8 duct silencer on the output of my Pentz EF5. It's very effective. See below thread. You can actually chain two or three of these together on the output for the first 7-8 feet (if you really want to), and then use spiral or Nordfab type duct for the rest of the way.

Thanks, Aaron - I had seen your post a while back, but couldn't find it - that thread is great.
