    How long have you owned this? The reason I ask is the the newer models were redesigned to also cut decorative beading. Seems like they made that change 4-5 years ago.

    Frederick, I purchased the plane from Lee Valley in November 2020. A beading knife was available but out of stock at the time I ordered the plane. John
