    Garden fence

Made this fence to replace an over 20 year old fence around the garden. The other fence was quite shabby. My wife said we can get another year out of it. I told her at 74 who knows what next year will be like. Cedar posts in the ground 1/4 hardware cloth. Back fence is all PVC also new.

Nice job Kevin. Having a garden right off the house is pretty clever. But that open top wouldn't keep out some of my resident critters, especially the young woodchucks. Those little buggers can climb any fence you put up. I had to build fully enclosed raised beds to keep them out. I didn't put hardware cloth under the bottom, however, so we'll see if they decide to tunnel under; wouldn't surprise me.

Enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Thanks John, That is not the house. It is a 180 year old barn that was moved along with the house when they built the reservoir down the hill from my land in 1900. When I bought the place you could see daylight thru the Barnboard’s. After a lot of work, it is now a pretty decent woodworking shop.
