    Unisaw magnetic motor starter replacement

For those of you that have replaced the magnetic motor starter on your Unisaw, did you get a replacement from Delta ( they have it for $470) or a third party?

This is for a 5hp, single phase motor.

Years ago I rebuilt a 1965 Unisaw and replaced the switch with one from Grizzly. Worked fine until I replaced it with a sliding table saw. Same switch used on numerous machines.

Easy enough to get a used contactor on the bay. Get one with adjustable overloads or make sure it comes with the correct heaters for your voltage.
A three phase one will work fine on single phase as long as coil voltage is correct.
many Furnas contactors the coil can be wired for high or low volts. No idea if other makes do that.
Why do you think you need a new one? Most failures are the stop switch circuit.
