Small world. I went to college at Alfred State. I live in PA now, but get up to the Alfred area quite often to hunt.

Small world, indeed. I used to hunt behind Alfred Tech, off Palmiter Rd. Started my ski journey at Happy Valley. Lots of good memories of Alfred.

I put a coat on the underside/no show surfaces today.

All surfaces primed with 2 coats Zinsser BIN, lightly sanded with 320

    SW Pro Classic acrylic satin
thinned ~5% with water (1.5 oz in 1 qt paint)
added ~3% GF Extender (1 oz in 1 qt paint)

Rolled on with a foam roller.
The paint dried pretty quick, ~20 minutes, some areas looked to be dry sooner.

Temp was 70F and the Relative Humidity was ~35%

Results look decent to me, but I have no past experience for comparison.

I can see a slight texture from the roller.

My guess is I could add another 5% Extender, especially with the low RH…?
