    Wooden Rolex?

    I usually post in the Turners forum but I was sorting out some usb drive files and found this pic of a watch I made some time ago. I used a fake Rolex I had at the time as my plan. It's made from Cherry, Purpleheart and Maple. The links are fastened at the back with a leather strap so they are flexible. The watch is about 3 feet long. I made another one as well and gave it to my brother for a housewarming gift. Thanks for looking...

    Very nice Barry. I assume because of it's size that you may have a battery operated movement in it so it's functional as well as decorative.
