    Another What Is This

    My younger brother is always buying and selling stuff. In a box of junk he found this and has no idea what it may be.

    I thought it might be for installing threaded inserts.

    I've seen plenty with female threads to recieve a male threaded tip but this is new to me.
    I wouldn't think there is enough torque in a standard handle to install threaded inserts. It could be for threading or cleaning threads on some other soft material

    The handle is very nice. It looks like Brazilian Rosewood. My gun cleaning rods have a T handle that spins to follow the rifling. A handle like that would make sense for shotgun specific cleaning rod.
