    I’m in CT, and if you really want to try the OEM knife setting tools, I’ll put them in a padded mailer and send them to you.
    Be prepared to be woefully unimpressed.
    Mine are from a late 90’s Jet 15” planer:

    I have a Delta 15" and a Dewalt 735. The Dewalt uses indexing holes and always comes out perfectly set with minimal effort. I use it as a finishing planer when using my 15". Not saying that you would have the same results, but it might be worth trying. I removed my knives and honed them when I bought the planer used. I put them in by sight and made sure the bevel was parallel to the head as best as I could see. It works fine and produces boards within 3-5 thousandths from side to side. No chatter and smooth cutting.

    I think I'll try my luck again soon as they need replacing now. I'd really like to get them dead straight, but what a pain it is.
