I often chuckle about some posts on SMC being from the future:

In the past the time difference was less. Could the server clock be drifting a bit more?
Last time I checked my computer is synched with an atomic clock near Denver, Colorado.
It matches Google and ebay within seconds:

It is important to be in synch with ebay if you are a serious bidder.

Yea, the clock's running fast. NTP resolves this.
