I am making a Kitchen Table and I’m ready to apply the final clear coat finish. Does anyone have enough experience with this to recommend a good finish that will stand up to everyday kitchen use? I currently have Polyurethane and Spar Marine Varnish but I will get whatever is recommended. Thanks in advance!

Of the two you have, I'd choose the poly, if its oil based. Spar varnish is really soft, not a good choice for a kitchen table. If your poly is a waterborne, then I would probably not use it unless it's oil modified, like Minwax's Oil Modified Waterborne Poly. That stuff is very easy to apply even with a brush, looks great, and is very durable after curing.
