Hi,

I've been watching their official YouTube videos and it is hard for me to tell... Does this design allow the user to lean against the headboard and not lose the pillows (pillows slipping down between a gap and the headboard)?

I don't know what design you are referring to, Andrew, but the one I built about 30 years ago has only the smallest gap between the bed in the down position and headboard. It's all about where the pivot point is located.

Not enough of a gap for pillows, but enough of a gap for children's books to slip through.
