    You can post a link (with the little filmstrip icon) if the video is on youtube or hosted on some web page.

    For example, one of mine, made for a turning club demo:

    Further explanation...nearly all (if not all) forum sites do not permit direct upload of videos because they generally are "yuge" files. So hosting them elsewhere, such as YouTube like John shows, and then using the forum software media link to make them easy to access in a thread is what gets done.
