    Tissue box/Receipt box

Finished up three identical boxes. Two for tissue box covers and one for receipts. QS sycamore. Watco Danish Oil, natural, and paste wax.

A bit of improvement over the slipper box I've been using for the last 20+ years:

Nice Paul. I like quartersawn sycamore on that!

Very nice. Out of curiosity, how do you get the tissue inside? Top hinged, or box lift off the base?

Thanks! The tops lift off. The inner part of the top is 1/8 thicker than the outer part so it positions itself. They are heavy enough that just pulling out a tissue doesn't lift the top.

What a great idea for a craft show item. I see some on the internet for >$50.
