Are you referring to a vl300 with 24" swing? If so the last one I saw sold used went for $2000. I have a one I bought new in 2008 it cost me $4500. They last a very long time and are usually quite difficult to find used.

I don't know about the cost of them. If you like turning on a long bed lathe, they are one of the best. I have the Vicmark 240 which has the pivoting headstock since I don't like turning bowls on a long bed lathe. I love it.
