    Pecan

    Turned this a couple years ago. Peak-to-peak, the rim is 13.5". The foot is 7.5" diameter. Wall is ~3/8". Second attempt ever at bowties.

    No finish applied. Sometimes I think about applying a finish. Sometimes I think "why?"

    Nice looking bowl. How did you do the bowties? With a router or chisel?

    These were router cut.

    Nice looking bowl. We're the bow ties done before or after turning?

    During. IIRC, I did not remove the tenon until the bow ties were installed. Funny I don't remember things as well as I once did.
