    Shoe rack

This is a shoe rack out of mahogany with Ebony, trim and sort of a Greene &Greene/craftsman style, cloud lift motif on side rails, through/wedged M&T joints and some banded inlay. I made a couple of these shoe racks for different folks and they’ve been pretty popular. It’s pretty practical at our house. Fun project that doesn’t take much lumber.

    Best, Mike.

That's way too pretty to sit shoes on and get all marked up.
    Nice work Mike!

That's beautiful. Slippers, maybe, but no way I'd put dirty shoes in that.

That's a beautiful piece, Mike. I would spend a lot of time cleaning my shoes before I would put them on something that nice.

I appreciate the feedback – you guys are too kind. Seems like maybe I may have posted this twice – is that the classic example that Alzheimer’s is setting in?

Beautiful as usual-the banding and cloud lifts really elevate the piece!
