    Bought a few hand saws

Bought this collection of hand saws yesterday. About 75% are Disston, and like always a few dogs in the bunch too. It was an all or nothing kind of deal. Tuning these up should just about take me into spring! LOLScreenshot 2023-02-01 at 6.02.59 PM.jpg

    Wow! BLUE DUCK!

All the saws in the picture? That is a good start for going into business.

Looks like a few good joinery saws on the floor and some good miter box saws on the end of the first table.

The dogs can always be used to make scrapers.

One of my marking knives was made from a piece of an old saw:

It is my favorite when making dovetails.

Yup, 66 of them. Kind of went through all of them today. One unique Craftsman that has an etching style on the blade exactly like the old Disston saws. A Superior with a finger hole handle, and much more.

That term arose here a few years ago. There was a rhyming phrase that was repeatedly used when someone found a good deal. It was a comment about good fortune and a bit of envy. There were some complaints about the rhyming phrase that ruffled some feathers. "nuff said!
I paid more than that William, maybe I'm getting numbed to post pandemic pricing?

I have a brother that lives close to Richard. I may ask him to give Richard some competition.
