    TS mounted router

I replaced my right TS wing with a homemade router table and have enjoyed it for years. My Beis. fence works great as a dual purpose fence for the TS and router..but I'd like to have a better solution.

Have any of you seen a plan for a homemade fence that clamps to a TS fence for this application? I want to have dust collection capabilities.

    Thanks!

    John,
Here is a picture of the one I made for my TS/Router table. The fence can be adjusted for near zero clearance.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey John,

I've a had a router ext. table on my saw for awhile now and love it. Though I use separate fence (I have a Benchdog cast iron table ext. and fence) I never ustilize fence dust collection, all of my collection comes from a cabinet I built around the base and router under the extension which I have hooked up with a 4" hose to the DC. I used to have a stand alone table & cabinet that I used the fence collection then fence + plus cabinet and now with this setup I find that the below the table cabinet collection works great (except when using rail/stile bits which throw a litte bit beyond where the vacuum pressure is).

Here's another example of a router fence that clamps to the TS fence. I made my plans with Visio and have attached a PDF version here.
