    Cherry jewelry box

Hi! I wanted to share this jewelry box made over the holidays for my girlfriend's Christmas gift. It introduced a lot of firsts for me and ended up being a great learning experience.
Most of the box is Cherry; the lighter vertical grained wood is hemlock. Hardware is all from Lee Valley.

    Thanks for looking!

Absolutely beautiful. Is it your own design and would you share dimensions.

Really, really nice. It will only get better with age.

Thank you, and for sure! Whole thing is 8x10x10 inches, so definitely pretty beefy for a jewelry box.
The design changed a bit since the original skp, but here's the sketchup file
