A Slipper Caddy for the Boss

Just some place for her to keep her slippers organized...
Slipper Caddy, front view, Project Post.JPG
Front view, shelves are level to the floor..around in back...
Slipper Caddy, Rear view, Project Post.JPG
A thin strip to keep things from sliding out the back..sides splay out a bit....
Slipper Caddy, top view, Project Post.JPG
Looking at the top....sides lean a wee bit, as well..
Slipper Caddy, side view, Project Post.JPG
This was designed to sit under a Night Stand Table...

(No, I did NOT make that chair, BTW)

Made of scrap Ash and Scrap Maple....bottom shelf sits in a sliding dovetail. Top shelf sits in a dado. Stain is called "Gunstock" by Minwax...then a single coat of Warm Gloss Poly.

Something to use up a few scraps...

Looks real good , it’s practical, and it’s a special thing of Love. How do I know that ? I’m a good judge of character, and good remember -er .
And… I noticed that even though it’s for shoes ….there is NO shoe polish or brush in It ! I must admit that I’m not sure if I figured it out , or if
I’m just remembering some similar Sherlock Holmes case. But YOU are the shoe polisher !
