    Messing around

Some free time over the long holiday, so decided to give my chisels a more comfortable home. Nothing extraordinary in terms of what chisels I have, but they were laying in a drawer and prone to banging around.

As much an exercise in more CAD/VCarve work as anything. Am getting more familiar with the software. These I decided to build the model in VCarve with vectors, although as an exercise I pulled a dxf from OnShape as an alternative way, and also imported a solid model on one as a test. But the vectors allow the machine to chase it faster and for cutting pockets in a chunk of wood was pretty straightforward (I likely wouldnt make storage from solid wood in the future, but it was an exercise in practicing the process as a primary goal)

You did a really nice job on those drawer inserts, Carl. Projects like that are not only useful, they are also awesome learning experiences as you note!
