    New to Laser Engravers

    Hi all,

I have been interested in laser engraving for some time but have not dug in deep and done too much research yet. I've have mentioned it to my wife a few times. Today, I am called to the kitchen and find my wife and kids standing at the table with a big box wrapped up for my birthday. Now I have an xtool D1 pro. I am sure I will be back here often for some help to get started in laser engraving. I started toying with the software tonight and i'll set up the machine tomorrow morning.

Welcome to the laser forum. Not many of us have experience with that type of laser but we might help with materials or techniques even so. i have seen some YouTube examples and it looks like fun. So good luck with your new tool and keep us posted.
