The book is finally complete! It took several years and Covid to pull it all together. You will find it is a comprehensive tour de force of history, design and diversity of construction methods. The definitive book on small shop production of custom doors. When I looked for this book 30 or 40 years ago, none could be found. This book is meant to be used, to enable a shop to add custom doors to its product line-up, or to concentrate on this largely unused niche.
The author has been a professional woodworker for over 50 years, concentrating mostly in the architectural field. Doors - and anything that swings or moves - has been the arena for which his shop has been best known.
