    Again, many thanks for all of the ideas and suggestions! I think I am going to remove the center legs, keep a 4" overhang on the left and right, top flush at the front (I can still clamp between the top and opening below). Haven't decided yet on Formica top vs Masonite or raw plywood, but I am leaning toward Formica. I had Formica on a previous table that made it easy to cleanup, especially glue. I removed the Formica from the old table to save the Baltic Birch plywood - not difficult to do. The glue was more of a PIA to remove than the Formica.

    I'm thinking of installing a leg vise on the front left leg, which I changed to a 5" x 3.5" dimension. Good idea, bad idea?

    20mm or 3/4" dog holes? Drill or router to cut the dog holes?Outfeed_Front3.jpg

    A reusable sheet of 7-mil polyethylene sheeting keeps the glue off your work surface.
