I need to get some new floor mats for my 2000 ford ranger. I want heavy rubber no carpet or leather. No one seems to make ones that custom fit. If I have to cut to fit anyway I do not see the point in paying for name brand.

Weathertech sells very nice flexible rubber floormats. They are not cheap, but they will fit perfectly. Their website was acting up and I couldnt search for your Ranger. But here is a link.
A far cheaper source is probably your local autoparts store, but you'll have to cut those.

I should have said weathertech is cut to fit. Husky says they have made to fit.

Looks to me like the only thing Husky offers is trim to fit as well. Looks like both are American made so that means whoever is cheapest probably.
