Gary, what material is the blade?

If it's pmv, I'll take it.

Does this include the fence? I don't see it in the photos. Any idea what the blade material is?

FWIW both the PMV11 and O1 replacement irons for this item show as available on the Lee Valley page.

When I wanted a skew plane I first bought an O1 iron for the Veritas RH skew, came up with a guide to sharpen the iron, then ordered mine with a PMV11 iron from the factory. When my PMV11 iron is ready to sharpen I can either switch irons and get them both ready to sharpen and then sharpen them both, or just deal with the PMV11 and put it back into service.

There are a relative lot of folks advocate free handing this iron. I am not among them and find this item, the short blade honing guide: https://www.leevalley.com/en-us/shop...e?item=05M0930 gets the job done well when used judiciously.

No relation to seller, good luck with sale.
