Thread: Power feeder position with outboard shaper fence

    A lot of good information here guys, thanks. It seems that maybe leaving the stock extra wide and then ripping it after the profile is cut might be the easiest way for small runs. I like the idea of the outboard fence but it seems it may be more trouble than it is worth.

    What Stephenson shows is shaping the profile vertically against the inboard fence leaving flats top and bottom, then shaping the 45 bevels with the stock flat to the table against the inboard shaper fence.
