    "tawa"

    "TAWA"
This segmented piece is made from Padauk, Curly Maple and Red Oak. Turned, burned, carved and colored the finish size is 16" D with out the feathers; 28"-30" with the feathers. The owner can select the type of feathers to be used, these are Guinea Fowl. After coloring the finish was done in lacquer. "TAWA" is the Hopi sun god creator god.

Man, you are prolific! You never run out of ideas and they are always so well executed. This is another beauty.

Hey Bruce, another awesome piece. Thanks for posting your work here so that it can be appreciated. I'm really curious on how that piece was done.

Thank you Lawrence and Ken working on a new whip now. This one will be a bit different type of piece for me as I'm going for a more modern feel / look. This is just the start of the first section of several parts. This Teak cylinder is 4 1/2" x 9 1/2" 1/8" thick wall.
