    $6 Friday morning

After a rain storm rolled through...West Liberty, OH. still had their village wide garage sales...I had $6.76 in "Mad Money"...came back home with $0.76 left over..

That $2 vise might come in handy. That $0.75 Blue Grass 2" wide chisel might find some use...Bevel square will need some clean-up...3 bits were a package deal, along with..

That Stanley Rule &Level Co. No.8, also marked for the ORD. Dept. USA ( United States Army)$0.75 marking knife?

    And..

    Un-opened pack of 15 sheets...$0.25

The Boss bought a Phillips DVD player ( not BluRay) with remote..$10..

Not too bad of a morning? They will also be running tomorrow, weather permitting...

Appears to be by Sargent, sold by Sears as a Dunlap....under the cap iron it is marked as a 306/307.....on the base, behind the ramp of the mouth opening, it is marked as a 217-16

Iron is marked as DUNLAP APPROVED BL 619. 3701

new paint job after all the rust has been removed.....iron is going to take a bit of work to sharpen up...knob bolt cleaned of rust, and given a drop of oil to stay that way. Knob has been given an oil finish to refresh it..Plane's base is 7" long.

Will clean up the chisel later...maybe this evening...

3 drill bits, and the 3/4" Craftsman chisel....
    Wednesday Morning, Bit goes there.JPG
Well, what do you know...they do fit the drill...Stanley No.8

Wondering IF that is the correct angle for the 2 metal drilling bits...or, are they set up for wood...

Chisel had a bad bevel....will correct and sharpen..later.

Honey-do task this morning..turned out badly..
