I got a hold of a different Tech at Grizzly support today and he was able to trouble shoot my VFD issues with me and I now have my lathe running again.
It took quite awhile on the phone but all is well now.

I am not sure he talked me through some steps pushing the mode button and restet button and pluging and unpluging the lathe took quite awhile but it seems to run fine now. Thanks to a good and patience tech.
