Just used Osmo decking oil for the first time and wonder what it is. I expected something like tinted Osmo Polyx but the decking oil is much thinner. Seems like a standard exterior stain. Coverage was better than expected. Opacity is good if applied thinly. Still, I wonder whether it is a hardwax oil or just Cabot with a different name. Anyone have experience with the product? I wonder if it would hold up in a marine environment.
