    On a closed cabinet like a bandsaw it is all about making sure there is an additional port allowing replacement air in at the same rate as the extracted air.

    True but the typical Rockwell/Delta 14" cast iron bandsaw and it's dozens of clones are not anywhere close to being closed cabinet saws. There is no shortage of open areas for replacement air.
