    Bosch 1617

    My router worked one min. and when I tried to use it again nada. There was power in the cord as my saw stared.
    Are the chances good it is the switch?

    Yes, definitely could be the switch. Try blowing it out with compressed air. If that doesn't work off just enough so that you can get at it and blow it out again. That has worked for me a couple of times. In fact, I still haven't needed to actually replace the switch; it's always just been sawdust in it.

    elect. cleaner spray is also handy to have on had/use for this.

    Typical failure but the switch is easily replaced. I don't remember where I purchased them last but bought two as I've replaced them more than once.

    A couple of blasts with canned air, that's is all it took.
