    What Is It?

Gloria.jpgMy sister in law found this in her garage and doesn't know what it is? Can anyone help her out? Thinking maybe for mixing paint?

Not unlike some straight SS whisks I have in the kitchen, so I would suspect it's for mixing something as you mention. Given the material it's made of, paint would certainly be one conceivable target.

I've asked several who, like me, have never seen one.

Any hints from the location in the garage, perhaps from other things near it, gardening, cheese-making stuff, wool/yarn?
Size? If that's a handle on the right the spikes must be 11-12" long or so.
Is it coated steel or plastic? (rigid, flexible?)
Does anything on it turn? Is that a socket/cup in the center?
Are the dark spots fasteners to hold the handle onto a shaft?

I doubt it's for paint, would be a complete bear to clean up---
found this 'ball whisk' that resembles it--

Thanks, I had never heard of google reverse picture look up. I think this is it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/30288687293...evt=1&mkcid=28

Looks like a steamer holder for pockets. Now her mystery, how did it get in her garage.

    Thanks, fun.
