    Drill Press needed a stand

left over pine and 3/4" pine plywood....then made a bank of Ash drawers to store items in..
    Stand Project, post 1.jpg
Pine parts were given a coat of Kilz Primer, then a rattle can of light blue paint...
    Stand Project, post 2.jpg
Ash was simply given a shellac finish....

There is a build thread about this project...

Great use of scraps, Steven. I use the same drawer handles in my shop stuff too. It all started when I redid a kitchen in an old rental, which had those handles, and I keep getting more at garage sales. They were copper, and I painted them black. I bet the drawers are full already.

PS: Just saw your boxes also...looking good.

I like it. The wood drawer fronts with the painted cabinet looks nice. Does your model drill press have two stage pullys under the belt guard?
