    Endurance

The video of Shackleton's Endurance Is neat to see. The woodworkers who built her would be proud.

Shackleton's memiour South! Is a favorite. He goes into good detail about the construction of the Ship. It was (is) an amazing wooden ship.

Wasn't that something? They said they were also going to stop at Shackleton's grave in South Georgia.

Shackleton's story is truly amazing and so is the condition of the ship after all that time. Here's another picture of it I got from somewhere a few years ago. I don't know if it's been "enhanced" or even if it's really the ship and not a model, but I love the picture.

That is one of Frank Hurleys photographs. It is one of an amazing bunch of photos that survived the ordeal.

South! with photographs is available digitally for free.

I enjoyed the History Chanel show. I was able to watch free with adds on line. It ended too soon.
