    Router collet

I have an old Milwaukee mdl 5650 3.5 horse router that came w/a 1/4" collet.
I want to find a 1/2" collet and am having no luck! If the threading is the same I could buy
    another mdl # collet.
Do you think it's feasible??? Thanx

There are some listed on ebay. One mentions checking with the Milwaukee website to make sure it is the right part number

I recently needed to go the other way (1/2” to 1/4”) for my PC 7518. I’ll look for a link to my post and responses, but if you’re in a hurry you can likely find the thread by searching on “collet”. Several third party choices, mine was inexpensive and seems to work just fine.

EDIT: Found “my” thread - hope this helps, best wishes! https://sawmillcreek.org/showthread....r)-for-PC-7518

No. They are similar in size, but...and PC is no longer in the router market as a manufacturer, too.
