    Throw Top

Latest project from the shop. For those of us under 60, you probably have no idea what these are or how to use them, but, when we were kids growing up and our Mom's told us to get our butts outside and go play, these are one of the things we played with, even having battles with them.

The wood is from Cousineau Wood Products, their spectraply line.
    Thanks for the comments, appreciated.

Nice! When I first saw the thumbnail on my phone I thought the rope was latex tubing and the overall assembly was what in my youth we called a "funnelator"... basically an oversized slingshot used to heave water balloons remarkable distances...guess we weren't as wholesome when mom told us to get our butts outside...
