    Shellac in a Squirt Bottle

How do folks fill a squirt bottle from a gallon can of shellac? I am talking about 16 oz plastic bottles with a flip up spout.

I have used squeeze bottles for shellac for years. I mix the cut I want in a container and then squeeze the air out of the bottle, dip the nose in and release to draw the shellac into the bottle.

Small funnel and a ladle or similar should work nicely.

Thanks guys. I will try the suction method first. Don't want to have to explain to my wife what happened to her ladle...

Her ladle and funnel will clean up fine with a little alcohol. She will never know. I do it all the time.

Turkey baster. It's also how they recommend how to transfer finishes into those plastic stop-loss bags

What is the purpose of shellac in a squeeze bottle? To refresh a pad with it?
