    Greene & Greene question?

    What was the favorite wood for Greene & Greene furniture.

    Mostly mahogany with ebony accents

    Most of the original stuff I've seen/am aware of is mahogany as the primary wood.

    The Gamble house also contains white oak mission furnishings and cabinets in office, a bedroom and kitchen areas. I am not sure who made the pieces, but they were impressive.
    Rustic? Well, no. That was not my intention!

    Most, if not all, of their furniture was made by John and Peter Hall.

    Also, some of their furniture is walnut.
