    Scam warning

I had the misfortune of the warning shown below to pop up on my new Windows 11 laptop today.

This is a scam. Do not call the phone number. It will open in your browser and you can simply remove the popup by going to any other website, then delete the link from your browser history. Your computer is not infected with anything. Windows Defender found nothing as did several other checks for malware.

Good warning! Even if you think a message like that might be legitimate it only takes seconds to Google the phone number and find out if it really belongs to Microsoft. That number doesn't appear to. Interesting that it's displaying the name of the virus (fiancetrack(2).dll) unless that's not really its name and that's just to throw you off.

I got that. I closed Task Manager, and Spyhunter cleaned it.
