I picked this box and saw up the other day. It is labeled a Sears box. The saw is the 6” Disston, a D-5, which appears to be in very good shape. Who made this box and what model is it. Much obliged for any help.

Howdy Jack, a little sleuthing found this on ebay:Followed by a look at > http://vintagemachinery.org/craftsma...facturers.aspx < indicates it is made by Hempe. My bet is few have ever heard of them, but there are listings for miter boxes made by them.Vtg Craftsman heritage sears miter box 881.36302 woodworking carpenters tool
