Ok...box has been sanded down smooth. Now, about some feet?
    Episode 5, peg feet, drill.JPG
Started with some Shaker Mini Pegs, grind them to shape. Then cut for length, about where that red line is...Then drill a few holes with that cordless drill....and glue the feet in place...
    Episode 5, feet glued up.JPG

    Next..find that dang Church Key...
    Episode 5, Church Key.JPG
As this is the best way to open a can...first coat..
    Episode 5, first coat, divider.JPG
Divider is done first...then the insides of the box...then the outsides...finish up on the top of the lid...
    Episode 5, first coat, front.JPG
    Front view, and..
Episode 5, first coat, end view.JPG
A view of the end of the box. let things dry a while..mainly the glued in feet...come back later, and level the feet. Sand down the nibs, and apply a second coat...
Paul lined his with a piece of leather, which I don't have. I'll still add a chain..might have a bit left over, somewhere.

Just need a few more coats of Amber Shellac...and this might well be done?
    Stay tuned..

So can the divider lift in and out, or are you going to glue it down? I am thinking I will not glue the divider in for a similar upcoming build.

Wrong way to wake up in the morning....from a sound sleep. Face down on the bedroom (wooden) floor....2' below the edge of the bed....and...I do NOT bounce. Kneecaps, elbows, foreheads, are NOT meant to be "Landing Zones" .....kind of stoved up this morning...on Monday, to boot.....think I'll just stay out of the shop, today....."Where's the IBprupin at?"

Updates: still sore, still have a headache, left elbow and hand (LZ #1) are sore. No more issues about falling out of bed, now.

Keepsake Box: a set of hinges has been fixed, to allow a better, gap free fit....will switch out later. A length of black chain has been rough-cut for length. Outside of the box has been fine sanded to 220 grit...and wiped down....waiting on Coat #2 to dry, now.

Boss has errands to run, this morning..might be later this evening before I can get back to the shop. Them stairs are NOT very fun, right now.....

    Stay tuned...

Ok, coat #2 is dry and rubbed out with 0000 steel wool. Gappy hinges replaced with hinges the Vise flattened the leaves down on...switched them out...had to watch HOW I clamped the box...
    Sellers Project, changing the hinges.JPG
Just re-used the screws, into the same screw holes..checked for gaps...
    Sellers Project, no gap back.JPG
Added a length of black chain to keep the lid from tilting back too far...
    Sellers Project, Chained Lid.JPG
Leveled the Mini-Bun feet on a sheet of sandpaper..
    Sellers Project, Mini-bun feet.JPG
later came back and touched up the finish on the pads..
    Any Gaps at the ends...
    Sellers Project, end view.JPG
I guess I can call this Project ....done?
